Snack More With These  25  Low Calorie  Healthy Nutritious Snacks  

Busy Professionals and those who are on the road often need healthy nutritious Snacks that are kind to your figure (100 Calories or Less) and that fit with your professional image.  The following suggestions have been compiled from several sources. Suggest you follow each snack with a large glass of clean (filtered) water to maintain your hydration:  


FRUITS

1. 1 medium sized apple of your choice. Best to sample several types and chose one to your taste

2.  2 cups raspberries

3.  28 grapes

4.  1 cup blueberries

5.  15 strawberries and ¼ cup Lite Cool Whip

6.  Medium size orange (May substitute ½ cup orange juice if necessary)

7.  1 cup unsweetened apple sauce

8.   ½ cup canned fruit cocktail – light syrup

 


NUTS

nuts are great snacks

9. 16 Pistachio nuts – chew well

10. 12 almonds – chew well

11. 15 pecans (unsalted) – chew well

12. 9 cashew nuts – chew well

13. 20 peanuts (unsalted) – chew well

 


VEGETABLES

veggies make great snacks

14. 1 serving of a “Green Smoothie” (No Sugar added)

15. ½ red pepper with 3 tablespoons hummus

16.  Small Mixed Greens Salad with cheese, tomatoes and carrots

17. 3 cups light microwave popcorn

18. 1 cup tomato or vegetable juice

 


OTHERS

19. 1 hard-boiled egg

21. 1 Fat Free Fudge Bar (Skinny Cow©)

22.  10 (bite size) baked tortilla chips with salsa

23. 1 Cheese wedge (Laughing Cow©) and 3 (whole grain) crackers

24. ½ cup low fat cottage cheese with 5 strawberries

25. ½ cup fat free yogurt, flavored
